Our Texas workshop builds the Hideaway from kiln-dried hardwood selected for grain character and structural integrity. The frame is mortise-and-tenon joined at stress points, reinforced with heavy-duty corner brackets — the kind of engineering that means this bed won't creak, shift, or loosen over decades of use. The headboard's proportions are deliberately commanding, scaled to anchor rooms with high ceilings or open layouts.

Hand-applied finishes bring out the natural movement in the wood grain, each piece developing its own character under our craftsmen's brushes and rags. The stain penetrates deep, sealed with a protective topcoat that resists wear while maintaining a natural hand-feel. Hardware is minimal and purposeful — what you see is wood and joinery, not decorative distractions.
