La Estrella Turquesa Chest

The La Estrella Turquesa Chest is built from solid Mexican pine and finished in the same hand-applied distressed turquoise that defines the collection — teal layered over warm pine, deliberately aged and chipped until the wood bleeds through in exactly the right places. The finish looks like it took decades to develop because the craft behind it did. No two chests will ever come out identical, and that is entirely the point.

Hand-carved rope-twist molding frames every drawer face, runs the full length of both corner posts, and wraps the perimeter of the top surface — paint settling dark into the carved grooves the way it does on something genuinely old. The drawer faces carry the natural character of the pine beneath: grain, tool marks, the honest evidence of wood worked by hand. Forged iron bail handles hang dark and heavy on each drawer, the same arched profile repeated five times down the face of the chest.

A carved scroll apron anchors the base — the same detail carried across the nightstand and armario in this collection. Tongue-and-groove side panels and a solid plank top round out the construction. This chest is built to stand beside a bed, anchor a hallway, or hold everything a well-lived bedroom requires — and look like it has always been exactly where you put it.
