There is no faking what’s on top of The King Ranch Ottoman. That’s real cowhide — hair-on, tricolor, pulled from a single hide so the brown, black, and white run together the way they did on the animal. No dye, no pattern, no repeat. Every ottoman that leaves our Texas workshop carries a top that exists nowhere else on earth.

The side band is full-grain leather in a deep espresso finish — the kind of hide that shows its history in the grain, that pulls warm under light and darkens at the edges with honest use. Large antique brass nailhead trim runs the full base perimeter, domed and generously spaced, the way Western furniture hardware is supposed to look — not decorative, but definitive.

The round drum shape is wide enough to anchor a living room and low enough to use as a coffee table with a tray on top. Put your boots up on it. Set a glass of whiskey on a tray. Let the dog sleep against it. The King Ranch is built for a room that actually gets lived in — not one that gets preserved.
