Named for the Staked Plains that defined the Texas frontier, this two-drawer file cabinet is built from solid Mexican pine in a warm honey stain that lets the dramatic grain and natural knots speak for themselves. No two faces are the same — the wood carries its own story, and the finish is applied by hand to deepen it rather than hide it. This is not office furniture from a catalog. It is a piece built the same way everything at The Vault is built: with time, with intention, and without shortcuts.

Hand-carved rope-twist molding wraps the full perimeter of the top surface and returns again at the base — the same detail carried through the Conquistador Executive Desk, making these two pieces natural partners beside each other in a study or a ranch office. A carved scroll apron anchors the base above four turned bun feet, grounding the piece with the kind of ornamental weight that takes a piece from functional to heirloom. Small forged iron ring pulls sit centered on each raised-panel drawer face — unpretentious, appropriately scaled, built to last.
