The Rio Bravo Bed

The Rio Bravo Bed commands a room the way a canyon commands the horizon — with quiet, undeniable authority. Named for the river that carved its way through unforgiving Southwest terrain, this bed carries that same sense of permanence. It is not furniture. It is architecture.

The frame is built from solid hardwood, hand-selected for tight grain and structural integrity. Deep relief carving runs across the headboard and footboard — scrollwork and flourishes that catch lamplight and shadow in equal measure. This is not decorative veneer or CNC shortcut work. Every groove was cut by hand in our Texas workshop.

Full-grain leather panels wrap the headboard's central field, stitched taut and secured with hand-driven upholstery tacks. The leather will soften and patina over decades of use, developing the kind of character that only time and touch can produce. The finish on the wood frame is hand-rubbed, warm, and deep enough to sink into.

The Rio Bravo belongs in a ranch master suite, a mountain lodge, a home where permanence matters more than trends. It is built to anchor a room for generations — the kind of bed your grandchildren will fight over in the estate sale. Available in King and Queen sizes. Bench and mattress not included.
